Holes Part II, Brewery, My CAR, and elections

My car is now not just here - NOW it is in my possession! Oh yeah, what a relief. I have been merrily cruising around this weekend. I must say I drive much more carefully so as to avoid the bumps and pot holes etc. but oh what a miracle to have a car that rides with all gadgets working, no motor noise and no jarring feeling when you do hit a bump in the road. Thanks Mr. Tire for making Lexi the perfect vehicle.

I forgot to mention in my last post that we went to the Bralima factory last weekend. They produce a few local beers as well as the the Coca Cola and Sprite. It was quite interesting and enjoyable to have beer before noon. But, more interesting is why we can't in the states fathom buying soda in a glass bottle and turning them in for replacement bottles.

For those of you who know how much I hate to have dirty feet, this one ought to give you quite a giggle. Yesterday, I stepped out the car and then took one step ankle deep into the most disgusting hole. My whole shoe was sopping wet and my foot felt fungal and viral afterword. Guaranteed I did a double foot wash scrub down to get that nastiness off me....BLAHHHH!

The elections are close now, 1 week away. In general I can't wait for them to be over for just the reason of not having to listen to cars driving by at slow speeds with blaring megaphones and people with whistles.

Well, just a mini post for now. Back at you with my next adventures soon.
